AWARDED – Lake Limerick Biomuck Dredging
MIC successfully dredged 5,000 yards of biomuck from the Lake Limerick Country Club Reservoir. Dredging was performed at two locations in the reservoir. Dredging was conducted with our 8 inch Mud Cat Dredge. Spoils were pumped over 2,500 feet via 10 inch HDPE Pipe and pumped with injected polymers into “bio bags” which contained the sediments and allowed the water to decant back into the reservoir. After the spoils dried the bags were cut open and the material was trucked to an upland disposal facility with a truck and pup. Project was completed on time with no permit extensions, under budget and with zero time losses.
